Ogier tests Toyota Yaris WRC in Spain

Sebastien Ogier has tested the new Toyota Yaris WRC as he continues to weigh up his options for the 2017 World Rally Championship.
The four-time world champion is without a drive for next season following Volkswagen’s shock withdrawal from the championship.
Keen to evaluate his options, the Frenchman jumped behind the wheel of the all-new Yaris WRC on wet tarmac and gravel roads in Spain.
Toyota has confirmed only Juho Hanninen for its return to the WRC after a 17-year absence, with Finns Esapekka Lappi and Jari Matti Latvala also linked to the team.
Speaking at Rally Australia, Ogier claimed he would make a decision on his future once he had tested the M-Sport Ford Fiesta and Citroen’s latest offering.
It has been reported that the 32-year-old will drive M-Sport’s 2017 Fiesta today with a move to the squad tipped as the strongest opportunity for next year.
