Todd Kelly’s Nissan Altima will carry a fresh look at Winton as the veteran eagerly anticipates the first V8 Supercars races on the circuit’s new surface.
Kelly’s Carsales entry has been turned white for the weekend in reference to the company’s sister Trucksales website.
The move is among several one-off branding changes planned for the season, with red Bikesales colours seen at Phillip Island.
The former Bathurst winning driver says he’s excited to return to Winton following its off-season resurface.
Nissan, which has traditionally performed strongly at the venue, has already tested there twice this season with its four-car squad.
“I had an absolute ball there in testing, the cars were really fast and well balanced, we’re aiming to carry that into the race meeting,” he said.
“I never thought a track could be transformed like that.
“Winton was one of those places where you had to drive at 70 percent to do a nice clean, fast lap.
“I like ringing the most out of the car and driving it hard.
“The surface has flipped the track over and made it one of the better tracks we drive on now.
“You can really hook in the with car and be precise more than we ever have been able to before.
“It’ll be really exciting qualify on that surface and also race as well.”
Kelly heads to Winton 11th in points, directly behind team-mates Rick Kelly and Michael Caruso.
Todd Kelly and Caruso both scored top five finishes at Winton last year, with the latter recording a podium.
The circuit remains the only venue where the Altima has tasted success, winning amid controversy over fuel regulations in 2013.
