POLL: The next new 2016 V8 Supercars winner
The 2016 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is proving to be the most unpredictable yet having welcomed a record eight different winners from nine races.
The championship kicked off at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide with a dominant win from Red Bull’s Jamie Whincup in the opening race.
However, the Holden Racing Team’s James Courtney was next to visit the top step before Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport’s Nick Percat scored a shock win in a rain affected Clipsal 500 showpiece.
Symmons Plains welcomed another two drivers to the winner’s circle as Shane van Gisbergen claimed his maiden win for Red Bull, while Tenno Autosports’ Will Davison also paid a visit to the top step.
