Veteran New Zealand racer Inky Tulloch remains in a critical condition following a crash at Teretonga on Sunday.

Tulloch was taken to Southland Hospital in a critical condition after his Honda Integra struck a tyre wall in a single-car accident during the weekend’s Clubman Saloon meeting.

The 65-year-old was moved to Christchurch Hospital on Monday, with the Canterbury District Health Board this morning confirming that he “remains in a critical, yet stable condition”.

Tulloch’s family has also issued a brief statement saying that they are “overwhelmed and thankful for the comforting support and prayers of family, friends and the wider public”.

An experienced businessman and racer, Tulloch is a former mayor for the Gore District in the Southland region of New Zealand’s South Island. comment policy reserves the right to deny any post that is abusive or offtopic. Users are encouraged to flag/report comments which should be removed.
