Garry Rogers Motorsport has unveiled new looks for its V8 Supercars Championship and Dunlop Series campaigns this season.
The team took the wraps off the four cars at its Melbourne workshop this morning as part of its annual open day.
Wilson Security continues for a second season as the Volvo squad’s title sponsor and has also taken major branding on the Dunlop Series Holdens.
The team has welcomed new drivers James Moffat and Richard Muscat this year, with the latter’s arrival marking an expansion of the second-tier squad to two cars.
Scott McLaughlin continues to spearhead Volvo’s V8 Supercars hopes while James Golding upgrades to a Car of the Future specification Holden for his second Dunlop Series campaign with the squad.
Team owner Garry Rogers says that addition of white to the Volvo liveries this year has taken time to get used to.
“To be totally honest I wasn’t sold on the idea, but I must admit that the end product with my own special touch on the numbers has made me reconsider my earlier reservations,” said Rogers.
“Car liveries are very difficult as you are often damned if you do and damned if you don’t make changes.
“I believe that our Volvo over the past two seasons has looked great and has been easily identifiable, but I also understand that both the fans and the sponsors like to see and often expect a new look every season.
“I hope that there are more likers than dislikers, I’ll leave that to you all.”
