VIDEO: Porsche three-car assault at Spa

Porsche goes into this weekend’s FIA WEC Spa 6 Hours with three cars as the manufacturer steps up its Le Mans 24 Hour preparations.

It now means that there are three Australasians competing with Mark Webber and Brendon Hartley joined by Earl Bamber.

Here’s a look at the team’s now extended family and how in both of the rain affected practice sessions the Porsche 919 LMP1 Hyrbid was fastest.

In the first 90-minute session, the #18 Porsche 919 Hybrid of Roman Dumas/Neel Jani/Marc Lieb topped the time sheets, while in the second wet session the new boys of Bamber, Nico Hülkenberg and Nick Tandy were fastest, followed by Timo Bernhard, Webber and Hartley.
