The program for the opening round of the FIM World Superbike round at Phillip Island will feature four domestic classes.

Four classes launching national championships at the February 20-22 event are the Australian Superbike, Australian Supersport, Moto3/125GP and the Australian Juniors.

The Australian Superbike and Australian Supersport classes will also form round 1 of the Phillip Island Championship which embraces the World Superbikes and October MotoGP events.

As a popular feature the freestyle motocross will also be on hand with mounds constructed at Doohan Corner, Lukey Heights and Siberia.

Sylvain Guintoli, the 2014 WSBK champion, will again have strong competition from Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea.

Among new names in the championship are Randy de Puniet and the reigning World Supersport Champion, Michael van der Mark.
