V8 Supercars has been forced to amend the date of the 2015 Perth Supersprint to avoid a clashing AFL fixture.
Following the release of the footy calendar which sees a local derby between West Coast Eagles and the Fremantle Dockers, V8s have now put the Perth 400 round back to May 1-3.
When V8s made public its 2015 calendar in September, the Perth round was listed for April 17-19, round three on the Championship Series schedule.
That means teams will have a cramped turnaround with the next round at Winton slated for May 15-17.
Tourism WA and V8 Supercars jointly announced the date change.
A compressed AFL schedule for 2015 was initially announced in early August with a full fixture list released late last month.
