One of the V8 Supercars Championship's greatest assets is undoubtedly its portfolio of street circuit events.
The South Australian government set the trend in 1999, moving its V8 Supercars round from the rural Mallala Motorsport Park to Adelaide's famed parklands.
While an expensive exercise, the event immediately proved itself a success, boosting tourism and drawing a mass of non-traditional patrons to the sport.
The current V8 Supercars schedule sees similar city circuits at Reid Park in Townsville, Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast and Sydney Olympic Park, near Homebush.
Like Adelaide with its Formula 1 heritage, the Gold Coast played host to American open-wheel racing for 18 years before morphing into its current V8 Supercars-focussed format.
Townsville and Sydney were both conceived especially for V8 Supercars, joining the championship together in 2009.
Whether it be for the experience trackside or on television, we want to know which you think is V8 Supercars' best street race.
Vote now on this week's Pirtek Poll.
Note: While Bathurst's Mount Panorama Circuit is also made up of public roads, it is not a true city street course in the mould of Adelaide, Townsville, Surfers Paradise and Sydney and is therefore not included in the poll.
