Toyota has taken a 25 second victory in the latest round of the World Endurance Championship in Japan with Australia's Mark Webber bringing his Porsche into a podium finish.
Sebastien Buemi and Anthony Davidson brought their Toyota home in first.
Mark Webber, driving with Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley came home third, a lap down on the Toyotas with the TS 040 Hybrid of Kazuki Nakajima, Stephane Sarrazin and Alex Wurz finishing second.
Webber had fought back from an early puncture. Double stinting on the same set of Michelins post puncture worked in the team's favour.
The Audi pair of R18 e-tron quattros battled home in fifth and sixth.
Ligier won LMP2, while AF Corse took out the GTE with its Ferrari.
