US motor racing magnate Roger Penske and driver Marcos Ambrose have made their first public appearance together, showing a rendering of how the #17 DJR Team Penske Falcon might look next season.

Speedcafe.com has obtained a special image as Ambrose took part in his first official appearance with Team Penske at Charlotte, North Carolina, at a Penske dealer conference.

The image was shown as Team Penske displayed the Western Star livery it will run in the Nationwide NASCAR race at Charlotte on Friday night.

The team says that the MAN Falcon livery is one of several ideas currently under consideration for the 2015 V8 Supercars season.

The look supports Penske’s MAN Truck and Bus brand in Australia and New Zealand, which Penske took control of alongside that of Western Star last August.

Penske president Tim Cindric and Jeff Swartwout, who will be installed as the DJR Team Penske team manager, are at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 this weekend, taking a first hand look at the country’s most emotive motor race.
