If the Bathurst 12 Hour and V8 Supercars test day clash in 2015, which event will you be watching?
An expected expansion of the Sydney Motorsport Park test from one to two days would ensure that the V8 Supercars stars cannot compete in the GT race.
V8 Supercars says it's looking to bring its test forward in order to avoid clashing with the Cricket World Cup, which will be broadcast on Fox Sports from February 14.
News of the move directly followed confirmation that Network Seven, which loses the V8 Supercars broadcasting rights to Fox/Network Ten at the end of the current season, will broadcast the Bathurst 12 Hour live in its entirety.
Under its new television rights deal, Fox is expected to cover the pre-season test live on its pay TV platform.
Although Bathurst 12 Hour organisers have downplayed the impact that a clash would have on its event, the absence of stars including Craig Lowndes, Rick Kelly, Shane van Gisbergen and Will Davison will undoubtedly detract from its growing stature.
Whether watching from the race track or the couch, which event will your eyes be on if the clash goes ahead?
Have your say in this week's Pirtek Poll.
