The Holden Racing Team has confirmed that it will reveal its 2014 livery and endurance co-drivers at Bathurst on February 12.
The timing will see the cars unveiled at the iconic circuit three days before the pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park.
A team statement said that the choice of location will celebrate a milestone in Holden’s racing heritage.
“The scene of HRT’s seven famous victories in Australia’s Great Race, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, Mount Panorama was selected as an ideal location for the team’s launch for what will be Holden’s 45th season of official factory involvement in Australian motorsport,” it read.
The team is promising “a stunning, all-new look”, which will incorporate the branding of its new-for-2014 major sponsor, SP Tools.
It is expected that the new livery will see a return of a fluorescent red to the factory cars, while red wheels are tipped to complete the new design.
The team will also reveal its endurance line-up which, as previously reported, will see Jonathon Webb line-up alongside Garth Tander and Greg Murphy alongside James Courtney.
The timing of the announcements will likely allow Webb, who owns rival Holden outfit Tekno Autosports, to have his first run in a HRT Commodore during the Sydney test.
