The M-Sport squad has revealed its all-new livery adorning the Ford Fiestas which Mikko Hirvonen and Elfyn Evans will pilot in the 2014 World Rally Championship.
After ending an association with Qatar as its major backer, M-Sport was forced to change its Fiesta RS warpaint with the WRC machines running blue and black hues.
With continued technical support from Ford, the new-look Fiestas were revealed in a live-wrapping exhibition with partners 3M Peltor at the Autosport Show in England.
There is a strong presence of Ford’s EcoBoost branding on the cars which Hirvonen and newcomer Evans will campaign through the 2014 season which starts with the Monte Carlo rally later this week.
The new-look pays homage to M-sport’s partners Castrol and Michelin.
“I’m very happy to reveal the new 2014 livery for the M-Sport World Rally Team,” team principal Malcolm Wilson said.
“There has been a lot of hard work to get to this point, and I need to commend the efforts of every single member of our dedicated team.”
Hirvonen is returning to the Cumbria-based team after spending the last couple of seasons at Citroen.
