V8 Supercars has announced an 11-hour hour deal with NRMA Motoring and Services confirmed as naming rights sponsor for the Sydney 500 next week.
The deal comes after the grand finale in the Championship was left without a title backer after the withdrawal of Telstra.
James Warburton, the chief executive of V8 Supercars, confirmed the last-minute deal today ahead of the title showdown at Sydney Olympic Park.
“The NRMA is all for its' members, just as we are all for our fans,” Mr Warburton said.
“There are extremely strong synergies between the ethos and core values of the NRMA that relate directly to V8 Supercars and vice-versa.”
