Full driving squad confirmed for Bright’s Le Mans tilt

The 8Star Ferrari in the Paul Ricard pitlane
American Ferrari outfit 8Star Motorsports has officially confirmed its full driver line-up for this June’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
Australian V8 Supercars star Jason Bright and team owner Enzo Potolicchio will be joined for the La Sarthe classic by 41-year-old Portuguese driver Rui Águas.
The Mozambique-born Águas has been a AF Corse Ferrari regular over recent seasons, racing with the team in the last two Le Mans 24 Hours.
The trio will be competing in the GTE Am division against 12 other entries, including three AF Corse 458s, two Labre Competition Corvettes, two IMSA Performance Porsches and two Aston Martin Racing Aston Martins.
The class includes three drivers that Bright raced against in this year’s Bathurst 12 Hour; Allan Simonsen (AMR), Matt Griffin (AF Corse) and Marco Cioci (AF Corse).
Bright is currently in France and will have his first taste of the 8Star Ferrari when the pre-season World Endurance Championship test gets underway at Paul Ricard later today.
