Mitch Evans qualifies sixth for GP2 opening round
Kiwi star Mitch Evans completed a highly impressive maiden outing in the GP2 series by qualifying sixth at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia.
Evans had opened his account earlier in the day by finishing fourth in practice and continued his speed into a heated 30-minute qualifying session.
Importantly the Arden International driver Evans outshone his team-mate Johnny Cecotto jr, one of the more experienced drivers on the 26-car grid who ended up 14th. CLICK HERE to read more on Speedcafe.co.nz
