Scott Pye’s Ekol Holden Commodore VF was revealed in Adelaide today

South Australian V8 Supercars driver Scott Pye has revealed a new look and an all-new sponsor for the 2013 V8 Supercars Championship.

Pye’s Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport Commodore VE will be supported by finance and investment firm Ekol, sporting a distinctive yellow livery.

The car was revealed in the Clipsal 500 pit lane, together with an ACDC cover band singing ‘It’s A Long Way To The top,’ signifying the challenges the rookie main series driver will face this year.

The #80 entry also displays significant support from Hogs Breath Cafe which adorns the front bar, windscreen and rear end of the Triple Eight-built Commodore VF.

Pye will be engineered by Brendan Hogan and is the sister car to Dean Fiore’s Dodo Car Insurance Commodore.

After finishing second in last year’s Dunlop Series, Pye has graduated to the main championship after driving with the LDM team in last year’s V8 Supercars endurance races. comment policy reserves the right to remove comments that are off-topic, abusive and ban users who do not follow the comment policy.
