Brendon Hartley excited at Daytona 24 debut

Top Kiwi racer Brendon Hartley’s driving partners for his debut in the Daytona 24 hour race this weekend have been confirmed by the Starworks team.

Hartley will be joined in the second of the two Starworks-entered V8-powered Ford Riley Prototypes by Scott Mayer, Ivan Bellarosa, Gaetano Ardagna Perez and Jan Chaurouz.

The 23-year-old has earned a spot in the team with the lead car to be spearheaded by four-times Champ Car series winner Sebastien Bourdais, sports car front-runner Allan McNish, Ryan Dalziel and Alex Popow. CLICK HERE to read full story on Speedcafe.co.nz
