Murph calls for investigation into failed V8ST engines

Greg Murphy

Greg Murphy has called for an investigation into the repeated engine failures that has taken the gloss off the V8 SuperTourer’s maiden season.

Colin Corkery suffered his third engine failure of the season early in the opening practice session at Ruapuna, forcing him and co-driver Jeroen Bleekemolen to retire from the meeting after a few minutes of practice at the final meeting of the year.

The same fate befell the experienced Kiwi racer Kayne Scott and Simon Evans.
