Three drivers names will appear on the window of the #17 Jim Beam Racing Falcon at the Armor All Gold Coast 600 this weekend.

Queenslander Ben Dunlop has won Jim Beam Racing’s ‘Wanna Be Famous’ promotion, with his surname appearing on the rear windows of the #17 Ford, alongside drivers Steve Johnson and international co-driver Max Papis.

Dunlop’s face will appear in the iconic Jim Beam rosette on the bonnet, while the car has received a new look for the weekend, showcasing a mosaic style livery made up of thousands of pictures of Jim Beam Racing fans, submitted via Facebook..

Dunlop was thrilled when he received the call informing him of his success.

“I couldn’t believe it when I got the phone call, I thought it was a friend playing a prank,” he said.

“I can’t wait for the weekend, it’s going to be amazing.”

Track action at the Surfers Paradise street track kicks off tomorrow.
