Mazda and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation have announced that the Celebrity Challenge will return to the streets of Melbourne at next year's Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.
A selection of 20 stars from various backgrounds will drive the all-new Mazda 6 diesels – the first time that a clean diesel engine has been used in the prestigious event.
The Celebrity Challenge returns to the GP support card after missing the cut last year. It was the one and only time that a Celebrity Challenge has not been held at any of Australia's F1 Grand Prixs since 1985.
So, do you think the class deserves a place on alongside the Formula 1 circus?
Do you like seeing some of Australia's best sporting and entertainment talent racing around in equal machinery? Do you like seeing the fending-bending antics that go along with the racing? Or would you prefer to see a traditional support category take their place at the Grand Prix?
