Dutchman Jeroen Bleekemolen will make his debut in the Porsche City Index Carrera Cup Australia when he takes to the wheel of the category's Guest Car at Bathurst.
A dual champion in Porsche's flagship Supercup, the 30-year-old is set to compete at Bathurst with backing from tyre retailing network Tyreplus.
The news follows confirmation yesterday that Bleekemolen will undertake demonstration laps at the event in a Porsche RS Spyder.

Bleekemolen has past experience of the Mount Panorama circuit having competed in February's Bathurst 12 Hour with Erebus Racing, and says he's looking forward to mixing it with Carrera Cup's front-runners.
“I'm anticipating the competition will be tough and I can't wait,” he said.
“I have raced against many of the drivers on the Carrera Cup Australia grid before: Jonny Reid in A1GP, Craig Baird in last year's Porsche Carrera World Cup and several others in the New Zealand V8 SuperTourers.
“If these past races are anything to go by, the pace will be very competitive at the front of the field.”
The Carrera Cup outing will take place two weeks before Bleekemolen makes his V8 Supercars debut alongside Shane van Gisbergen at the Armor All Gold Coast 600.
Bleekemolen's busy 2012 racing schedule has already seen him make appearances in a host of different categories including the FIA World Endurance Championship, American Le Mans Series, American Grand Am Series, Porsche Supercup, Blancpain Endurance Series, Dutch GT Masters, German GT Masters and New Zealand V8 SuperTourers.
