Top Aussie V8 Supercar privateer Tony D'Alberto remains central to the chances of Andy Booth pulling off an emotion-charged victory in the inaugural V8 SuperTourer enduro at Taupo this weekend.
D'Alberto is one of almost a dozen V8 Supercar main game or part-time long distance drivers to gain a start in the Father's Day 400 at the Ricoh Taupo Motorsport Park circuit.
The Woodstock Holden team is rated a decent chance of climbing onto the podium after Booth finished the four-round sprint series in fourth position behind John McInytre.
