Speedcafe.com celebrated a ‘social’ milestone on Saturday night (Australian time), clocking up 10,000 Facebook fans.

Speedcafe.com first launched in October 2009 and quickly became a ‘must read’ website for Australian and international motorsport news and entertainment.

To celebrate reaching 10,000 fans, Speedcafe.com is conducting a 10-day prize giveaway – exclusive to our Facebook fans.

At midday (Australian Eastern Time) each day for the next 10 working days, Speedcafe.com will ask a question on its Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/speedcafe

Entrants will have one hour to answer the question correctly. All correct answers within the hour will go into the draw to win an awesome Speedcafe.com prize pack.

The first prize pack will be given away at 1pm today (AEST)

Ten winners will receive;

– Speedcafe.com cap
– Speedcafe.com t-shirt
– Speedcafe.com sticker sheet
– Speedcafe.com lanyard
– The Annual 2011
– Castrol hoodie
– Castrol back pack
– Armor All gift pack

The winners will be picked at the end of the hour, selected randomly from the correct entrants.

On the 10th and final day, the winner will receive a Speedcafe.com prize pack, as well as a ‘money can’t buy’ experience. Stay tuned for more details during the week …

Speedcafe’s founding news editor Grant Rowley says that the Facebook fans milestone is a reason to celebrate.

“We treat our social media platforms as just as important as our website itself, so to reach the five-figure mark is a great achievement,” said Rowley.

“Like all of the race teams we write news stories about, we are competitive, and we want the best numbers in the field. We are considerably ahead of all of our rivals, and even punch quite well against some of the most followed V8 race teams and drivers.

“I hope all of our readers continue to enjoy Speedcafe and our social media sites, and look forward to sending these great prize packs out to our lucky winners.”
