The V8 Supercars teams are busy setting up their garages at Symmons Plains today ahead of this weekend’s Tasmania Challenge.
The V8 Supercars Championship returns to the Apple Isle venue less than five months after its last visit, where Jamie Whincup took both race victories.
This year sees a 140km race on Saturday followed by a 200km race on Sunday, with both the soft and the hard compound tyres required to be used in each.
Will Davison currently leads the championship standings following the opening round in Adelaide four weeks ago, with Jamie Whincup, Garth Tander, Mark Winterbottom and Craig Lowndes completing the top five.
