WIN! Design TeamVodafone’s transporter

The TeamVodafone transporter at Sandown

TeamVodafone is giving its fans the chance to have their design featured on its transporter for the entire 2012 V8 Supercars Championship Series season.

Fans will have until December 14th to design and submit their liveries, with templates and a gallery of designs available at a designated website. CLICK HERE for full details on TeamVodafone’s ‘Design our Rig’ site.

Team Principal Adrian Burgess believes it’s important to recognise the loyal following of fans and hopes the competition will allow talented designers to shine.

“Fans are what make this sport great, it keeps the passion we have for motorsport up and running so we want to give back to the people who support us year in year out,” Burgess said.

“The TeamVodafone transporter travels all around Australia so the coverage this could give to a young designer is huge, we would be proud to support someone’s best work.

“I think I speak for the team in saying that we look forward to seeing some of the great designs that will come out of this competition, and you never know, we might end up using a couple of the other designs over the years to come.”

The winning design will be chosen by TeamVodafone and will feature on the TeamVodafone transporter for the duration of the 2012 V8 Supercar Season. The winner will also receive a TeamVodafone chrome membership for 2012, plus two VIP tickets to cheer on TeamVodafone trackside at the Clipsal 500, Adelaide from March 1-4, 2012.

TeamVodafone will also be presenting a ‘People’s Choice Award’, giving the designer with the most Facebook ‘Likes’ a TeamVodafone Chrome membership in 2012.

It is the second competition this year that is allowing fans to design a ;livery involved in the V8 Supercars Championship. IRWIN Tools recently concluded its competition where fans were given the chance to put their touch on Lee Holdsworth’s #4 IRWIN Racing Ford.

The winner of the IRWIN competition will be announced at the Sydney Telstra 500.
