Long-time Speedcafe.com reader Brett Walker is now the proud owner of a ‘Jacktember’ bonnet, as used by Jack Daniel’s Racing at the weekend’s L&H 500.

From Greenvale in Victoria, Walker is the winner of Speedcafe.com’s competition celebrating the 161st birthday of Jack Daniel – the founder of the famous Tennessee whiskey brand.

Walker, who will be making the trip to Bathurst next month to cheer on Jack Daniel’s Racing, was predictably wrapped when told of his competition win.

“Straight to the pool room as they say,” Walker told Speedcafe.com of his prize’s destination.

” I have a garage decked out with memorabilia and this will fit in nicely. I’ve got a Greg Murphy bonnet from his Tasman Motorsport days, two motorbikes hanging on the wall, as well as a variety of Peter Brock memorabilia.

“I’m totally wrapped to add this Jacktember bonnet to the collection. I have never won anything in my life and, being a Rick Kelly fan, this is one prize I really did want to win.”

Stay tuned to Speedcafe.com for future chances to win.
