Tony D’Alberto Racing has fine-tuned its team make-up ahead of this weekend’s V8 Supercars event at Queensland Raceway.

The Victorian Ford team has promoted within its operation, installing employee Dylan Napier as the team’s new crew chief.

Napier will work closely alongside the team’s lead engineer Adam DeBorre.

“We’ve restructured the way the team will operate, and it will get its first run at Queensland Raceway,” Al D’Alberto said.

“The business is all about speed and being competitive. We’ve structured the business in a way that will ensure that we have the best possible chance of extracting the best out of everyone – from the guys on the floor to the driver.

“Dylan Napier will be our crew chief. He’ll be the interface between the workshop and the engineers, blending the two departments. He has proved himself to be a leader amongst our crew and has a lot of potential.

“I will take more of a hands-on role, and I’m confident that we have a strong team combination for the second half of the season.”

Team driver Tony D’Alberto will compete in his #3 Wilson Security Racing Falcon FG in the Coates Hire 300 at Queensland Raceway this weekend.
