Pedrosa leads Stoner in Brno practice

Dani Pedrosa has topped both practice sessions ahead of this weekend’s Cardion ab Grand Prix Ceské republiky at Brno.
The Honda rider was the fastest in both Practice 1 and 2, outpacing Casey Stoner and Marco Simoncelli in both sessions.
Pedrosa’s time in Practice 1 was faster than his best in the second session, but the Spaniard’s times were enough to put an early stamp on the weekend.
Pedrosa’s best was a 1m56.3, with the only other man able to dip into the 1m56s bracket was his Honda team-mate Stoner.
Behind the fast three in the second session was reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha), Andrea Dovisioso (Honda), Ben Spies (Yamaha), Valentino Rossi (Ducati), Suzuki pair Alvaro Bautista and John Hopkins and Cal Crutchlow (Tech 3 Yamaha).
