Pirelli has revealed the tyre compound combinations it will use for he next three Formula One Grand Prixs.

At the next two rounds at Belgium (Spa) and Italy (Monza), the soft and medium compounds will be in use – the same combinations that were seen at Valencia and Nurburgring.

At Singapore, the ‘red’ super soft will return alongside the soft compound, replicating the same tyres that were used at the highly-entertaining Hungarian Grand prix last weekend.

Pirelli’s motorsport director Paul Hembery commented says that the next three rounds will potentially be the most exciting yet.

“We’re learning more and more with every race in our first year of Formula One, and fine-tuning our compound choices to benefit from the valuable information that we are accumulating,” he said.

“We’ve got three of the most thrilling races on the entire calendar coming up, and we believe that we’ve arrived at some tyre nominations that are very well-suited to the characteristics of these very different but equally exciting circuits.

“Of course there will always be some unknown factors – such as the weather – but the choices we have made are designed to help teams maximise both their performance and their race strategy.” comment policy reserves the right to deny any post that is abusive or offtopic.
