Bristol Motor Speedway was recently lauded in a ‘Business Insider’ article, ranking it inside the top 100 best venues for sport. Placed 77th, it was the only NASCAR track to make the coveted list and came in ahead of the impressive 2008 Chinese Olympic stadium and the billion dollar Yas Marina Circuit.
For the chance to win a trip to Bristol all you have to do is go to Speedcafe.com and answer four simple questions relating to the Jack Evo Handsaw, Marathon with WeldTec Circular Saw blade and the 4-Point Utility Knife blades – the newest products from IRWIN Tools.
The prize includes return airfares for two to Tri-Cities Airport, Tennessee, USA, all transfers, three night’s accommodation at the spectacular Meadowview Marriot Resort, entry into Bristol Motor Speedway, first class hospitality in the IRWIN Tools corporate suite, $1000 spending money and an extra internal flight so that you can see a little more of the USA while you are there.
IRWIN Racing’s Alex Davison has fond memories of his visit to Bristol last year.
“I had never been to a NASCAR event before last year, but Bristol was one of the events at the top of my list,” said Davison.
“The IRWIN Tools Bristol night race is something every race fan needs to do; it is so big it blows you away.
“160,000 people are packed in a stadium that reminds you of something out of gladiator, the noise is deafening and the action non-stop.
“Every motorsport fan should enter this competition.”
For SBR Team Principal Ross Stone, the trip was an unforgettable experience.
“Bristol Motor Speedway is unique, there is a reason why it is called ‘the bullring’, the seating soars some 24 floors high and the view is spectacular,” said Ross Stone.
“In late August when the IRWIN Tools Night Race is being run, the weather is hot and humid and this is carried over to the action on the track, it’s a ‘must see’ event if you are in to motorsport.
“The atmosphere inside and outside of Bristol Motor Speedway is electric. Jimmy (Stone), Alex and I had a wonderful time at last year’s IRWIN night race, it’s a shame that we can’t go again.”
The Speedcafe.com IRWIN Tools Bristol night race competition runs through June.
