Here is the first released artwork of the Carrera Cup machine that Jason Richards will drive at Townsville this July.

As part of the Bid4Jase.com fundraising scheme, Carrera Cup team owner Paul Cruickshank has organised a 911 GT3 Cup entry for Richards to make his debut in the one-make class.

Cruickshank has arranged for Porsche Melbourne to loan the car, while other key category suppliers are assisting with equipment and consumables.

And with thanks to V8 Supercars Events, the Porsche that Richards will be race will be on display at Townsville Airport prior to the event.

Carrera Cup supports the V8 Supercars event – the Sucrogen Townsville 400 – at the north Queensland street circuit.
