Jackson had a visit to his doctor last week to be treated for ‘flu – a pre-emptive blood test was returned showing he had stage three prostate cancer.
His doctor mentioned that Skip was the youngest person he had encountered with the condition.
This week, Jackson – who lives in Knoxville, Iowa – home of the Knoxville Raceway – will visit a specialist who will decide the best treatment for the Aussie Sprintcar star.
The Aussie Friends of Skip auction items and donation program will be hosted through the www.sprintcarworld.com.au website.
