Queenslander Todd Wanless is aiming to keep his run of good form going at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway this weekend when he lines up as one of the four Title chances in the Speedcar Super Series Grand Final.

Joining Wanless in the charge for the winner’s purse – which has totalled nearly $75,000 throughout the season will be current series leader, Troy Jenkins, Kiwi ace Michael Pickens and four time champion, Mark Brown.

Jenkins currently leads the chase by 298 points and whilst that might seem like a huge lead, under the series points structure, Wanless and co. still have a mathematical chance of taking the win.

Pickens – arguably the finest export from New Zealand in many years – enters the Grand Final as the only double up winner throughout the year, but with Sydney Speedway being the home pitch for Jenkins and Brown, he is going to find the going hard.

Brown, whilst third on the Championship Table – has had a quiet season by his own lofty standards and can never be counted out of the action.

The Speedcar Super Series Grand Final will take place on Saturday night at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway.

Current Speedcar Super Series Points:

1. Troy Jenkins – 2864 points

2. Michael Pickens – 2566

3. Mark Brown – 2169.50

4. Todd Wanless – 2145

5. Sid Whittaker – 1571
