Webb takes Miss Universe Australia for hot lap

Miss Universe Australia has got the Symmons Plains experience of a lifetime, enjoying a high speed hot lap in a V8 Supercar today.
Jesinta Campbell was chauffeured around the 2.4km Tasmanian track by Jonathon Webb in the #19 Dick Johnson Racing Ford Falcon.
“It was phenomenal, I can’t believe how fast these cars go,” Jesinta said on the completion of her flying lap.
“The braking was really surprising. There were corners where I thought Jonathon wasn’t going to stop in time.

“I knew Jonathon had everything under control but it certainly was an adrenalin rush. It probably is one of the scariest things I have ever done!”
Campbell and Webb are both residents of the Gold Coast.
The V8 Supercars Championship Series continues tomorrow with qualifying and a 120km race.
