The Australian 6 Hour will be held at Eastern Creek in July
CAMS has reached an agreement with the promoters of the Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships to administer the Australian Manufacturers Championship for the remainder of 2010.
Following the withdrawal of the Production Car Association of Australia (PCAA) from the Category Administration rights, the Shannons Nationals will take on the role of Category Administrator for the AMC for the remainder of 2010 while CAMS will launch an ‘Expressions of Interest’ process to assist in identifying suitable parties who are interested in securing the Category Management/Administration rights for this championship into the future.
CAMS considers the Australian Manufacturers Championship an important category within its system and bu ensuring its future, is giving it every chance to survive and continue to grow.
The next round of the 2010 Australian Manufacturers Championship will be the inaugural ‘Australian 6 Hour’ – a Production Car endurance event which will be held at Eastern Creek Raceway (July 17-18).
