Lee Holdsworth will debut a new helmet design at this weekend’s V8 Supercars Hamilton street race.

The 27-year-old received his ssMEDIA-designed helmet recently, which combines a striking red colour scheme coupled with carbon fibre detailing.

The Fujitsu Racing driver is rapt with his new head wear.

“I’m absolutely stoked with the design ssMEDIA created for me,” he said.

“The idea is to adopt a personal design that fits in with my ‘Leethal’ brand. It’s a design that I’ll hopefully hold onto for the rest of my career.”

Holdsworth currently sits fifth in the V8 Supercars Championship Series.

Helmet designs are a big (non-essential!) item for any race driver. Jim Beam Racing’s James Courtney is also debuting a new scheme this weekend. CLICK HERE to check it out …
