The V8 Supercars have landed in Bahrain for Races 3 and 4 of the V8 Championship Series – the Desert 400.

The cars were air freighted to Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday, and the majority of the teams and drivers arrived at the circuit last night or this morning.

The V8s were packed up literally straight off the track after Race 2 at Yas Marina last Saturday night, leaving the teams just two days to prepare their garages and race-prep the cars for the first practice session on Thursday at 11.20am.

Qualifying for Race 3 starts on Friday at 11.10am, followed by the race at 3.35pm. Qualifying for Sunday’s Race 4 starts at 12.20pm, with the event scheduled for 3.35pm.

Both V8 Supercars races are 200km in distance.

Support categories include GP2 Asia Series and the Batelco 2000cc Challenge – a national series for front and rear wheel drive hatchbacks, saloons and coupes.
