Ford Performance Racing will unveil its 2010 Falcon challengers via the internet.

The factory Ford team will reveal its new colour schemes in a video that will be filmed soon and aired on the team’s website on Sunday afternoon, February 7 – only hours before the Winton test.

At the last round in Sydney last year, FPR gave everyone a sneak peek of Paul Dumbrell’s The Bottle-O Racing Falcon – to be run as a third entry under Rod Nash Racing ownership.

According to a team representative, the new FPR Falcons will look similar in style to that car.

But before covers get pulled of cars, the FPR drivers are currently engaged in a pre-season battle – the FPR Men of Steel Fitness Challenge, presented by Orrcon Steel

The Challenge is being held over the coming two days in the Gold Coast region. Team drivers Mark Winterbottom, Steven Richards, Dumbrell and James Moffat will be joined by Olympic  triathlete hopeful Caine Eckstein, fellow traithletes Brad Dalrymple  and Tyron Easterbrook and News Limited journalist Damien Stannard.

The eight participants will be paired up in teams of two to compete against each other as they battle for the honour of becoming the inaugural winners of the Men of Steel Fitness Challenge.

The athletes will undertake two gruelling days of physical activities incorporating rock climbing, swimming, running, cycling legs and kayaking.

But are they really Men of Steel? This cheeky YouTube clip below might suggest something different …
