Chad Reed wants a career in V8 Supercars, starting with the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series in 2011.

Reed, the Australian-born American Supercross star, will return to Australia when his two-year deal with Kawasaki expires in 2011 and says he is committed to a future in V8 Supercar racing.

“I have tested with Team Vodafone and it is certainly an ambition of mine to drive again,” Reed told The Daily Telegraph.

“I have given a lot of thought to coming back and it could be something I do in the next couple of years. I would have to do it properly, which would mean coming through the development series.”
