Bosch brings spark to Shell V-Power Racing Team

Bosch signage will adorn the c-pillars of the No.12 and No.17 Shell V-Power Fords for the 2017 season

Bosch Automotive Aftermarket and Shell V-Power Racing Team are pleased to announce the continuation of their partnership in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship for 2017.

Bosch Automotive supplies the team with a variety of parts that are used on the Shell V-Power Fords, including spark plugs, alternators, fuel system parts and electrical ancillaries used on their 600+hp Ford V8 Engines.

An extension of the 25-plus year partnership Bosch Automotive enjoys with Team Penske in the United States, the Australian deal with Shell V-Power Racing Team will again promote Bosch Automotive Aftermarket as well as the Bosch Car Service Network.

Nikki Gerling, General Manager Bosch Automotive Australia, says that Bosch is proud to continue their partnership with the iconic team in the Supercars Championship.

“Bosch Automotive is a long-time partner of Penske in the United States, so it makes great sense to be a part of the team in Australia,” Ms. Gerling said.

“Our Bosch Car Service Network brings together 163 workshops Australia-wide, and with Supercars travelling to every state and the Northern Territory, we give our network the greatest exposure possible”.

“We are very proud that a variety of high-quality Bosch Automotive parts are used on the Shell V-Power Fords, including our spark plugs”.

“Bosch’s involvement in Supercars not only reinforces Bosch as a high performance brand, but allows Bosch products to be used in highly competitive environments”.

Shell V-Power Racing Team Managing Director Ryan Story said that the team was extremely pleased to have Bosch’s support for the 2017 season.

“It is our principle that we partner only with the best brands that are at the top of their respective categories, and Bosch Automotive, as the world’s leading supplier of automotive components is one of the biggest,” said Story.

“We are proud to represent a brand such as Bosch Automotive here at the Shell V-Power Racing Team, and look forward to a successful partnership.”

The Shell V-Power Racing Team will next appear at this weekend’s Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne, from Thursday March 23 to Sunday March 26.
