Editorial
Grant Rowley – Email
Grant Rowley is the editor of Speedcafe.com. Grant’s primary role is managing the site’s content, editing and writing stories and creating video.
Rowley started his motorsport journalism at Chevron Publishing in 2002 before moving to Melbourne to work as the staff journalist at Motorsport News in 2003. In 2007, Rowley was promoted to the publication’s editor (eNews) and held the position for three years before taking on the role as Speedcafe.com’s founding editor.
Besides his role as a journalist, Rowley has published seven books titled The Annual, a yearbook reviewing Australian and international motorsport. Rowley published his first book in 2005.
Stefan Bartholomaeus – Email
Stefan Bartholomaeus is Speedcafe.com’s staff journalist, working closely alongside editor Grant Rowley from the team’s Melbourne office.
In addition to writing news content, Stefan heads up the site’s electronic Race Guide preview magazines and its V8 Supercars event coverage. He has also produced trackside reports from Formula 1, MotoGP, World Rally Championship and NASCAR Sprint Cup events, and is the editor and chief writer for Speedcafe.com’s motorsport yearbook, the Speedcafe Annual.
Stefan has worked in the motorsport industry for five years, initially operating as a freelance writer before joining Speedcafe.com in 2010.
Gordon Lomas – Email
Gordon Lomas is a journalist, writer and author with more than 30
years of experience in the industry.
After spending 27 years with News Ltd under various mastheads, he
spent four years as a freelance during which time among other projects
he penned several books covering a range of motor racing topics.
He joined the Speedcafe family this year to head up the New Zealand
aspect of the website.
Sales and Marketing
Leisa Emberson – Email
Leisa Emberson is the Sales and Marketing manager for Speedcafe.com and Speedcafe.co.nz. Leisa’s primary role is to acquire and support all advertisers and Platinum Partners for both sites.
Emberson’s employment at Speedcafe is a return to motorsport. Working for South Pacific Tyres with the Dunlop brand for 13 years in various roles, including motorsport marketing manager for Dunlop’s involvement in the V8 Supercars.

Steven Neumann – Email
Steve is responsible for the technical and visual direction of Speedcafe, he works closely with our development team to make sure Speedcafe is up to speed with the latest trends and technology.
