Erebus Motorsport will honour ANZAC Day early with a special tribute on its Holden Commodores at the WD-40 Phillip Island 500.
Entries for David Reynolds and Dale Wood will sport an graphic featuring a poppy and a silhouette of diggers from the Gallipoli landing to honour servicemen ahead of ANZAC Day on Tuesday.
The graphic has been placed on the rear quarters of the squad's two Holdens.
“It's always important to remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” said Wood.
“I don't think there is a single person in Australia that it doesn't mean something to.
“We're lucky enough to enjoy the life we do and we wouldn't be able to if it wasn't for those who served, so we have a lot to be thankful for.”
Erebus Motorsport's Betty and Daniel Klimenko, and Barry Ryan will attend the School of Artillery's Dawn Service this Tuesday in Puckapunyal, Victoria.
The cars will head out on track at Phillip Island at 1245 AEST for a 20 minute qualifying session.
