Chaz Mostert's Supercheap Auto Falcon has been revealed in spectacular fashion.
Celebrating 20 years a sponsor in Supercars this year, Supercheap Auto enlisted former driver Russell Ingall to star in a special video to launch the new look FG X Falcon.
The video, posted below, plays out a story where Mostert and a crew of troops rescue Ingall and the Prodrive Falcon from a warehouse.
Ingall was backed by Supercheap Auto from 2008-2013 in Supercars.
Mostert's 2017 Falcon features a heavily revised red, yellow and black colour scheme, which will be displayed for the first time at the official tyre test at Sydney Motorsport Park on Tuesday.
“I had an absolute ball filming the reveal for our new livery with the Supercheap Auto crew,” said Mostert.
“We want to come out firing at the first event like we've just broken out of jail and that's pretty much what the video was about so it fits with our mission for this season perfectly.
“Supercheap Auto doesn't do things by halves and our season is going to be exactly the same. I'm super pumped to have them on board again.
“They're a fantastic team to work with and to have the continued support of some of our other sponsors is great as well. We can't do this without them.
“I think it looks mean as. The wheels are a big change but the overall look of the car is awesome.
“At the end of the day though it doesn't matter so much how the car looks but how it performs on track and I'm confident that the work the team's done over the break will put us right up amongst the action again in 2017.”
After enduring a winless season last year, Mostert will reunite with engineer Adam De Borre who returns to Prodrive after a season at DJR Team Penske.
The pair formed a successful association scoring a stunning Bathurst 1000 win in 2014 alongside a further eight race wins, 10 pole positions and 24 podium results.
