Michael Caruso's Altima will be emblazoned with Nissan's new ‘Beware of Strangers' slogan at this weekend's Coates Hire Sydney 500.
The Supercars entry is being used to introduce Nissan's campaign pushing for customers to use genuine parts when maintaining and repairing their vehicles.
It is the latest livery change for Caruso's #23 Altima, which has promoted Nissan's racing heritage, its financial services arm, an association with Melbourne City and the GT Academy through the year.
Caruso arrives at the Sydney season finale sitting eighth in the championship, six places higher than nearest Nissan team-mate Rick Kelly.
The 33-year-old Caruso has finished no better than 10th during his eight previous full-time Supercars season, the last four of which have come with Nissan.
Eager to finish the year on a high, Caruso says he's proud to be sporting Nissan's latest promotion on his car.
“It is a great time to bring to the track a livery that sends such a fantastic message to all of our fans, especially those who will be looking to get their Nissan checked before they start driving around in the holidays,” he said.
“Making sure you have the right parts in your car is incredibly important. This way, when you've got the family in the car this summer, you know that they are all safe and sound.”
