Stewards have confirmed a series of penalties following the ITM Auckland Super Sprint.
Officials have imposed a 25 championship points penalty to Nissan Motorsport’s Dale Wood for careless driving during Race 27.
The penalty refers to an infringement that saw Wood make contact with the #222 Lucas Dumbrell Commodore of Nick Percat at Turn 6.
Prodrive Racing’s Cameron Waters has also copped a 25 points penalty for contact with Super Black Racing’s Chris Pither at Turn 8 during Race 26.
Meanwhile, the Holden Racing Team’s James Courtney has been deducted 10 points for failing to give racing room to Nissan’s Michael Caruso at Turn 6 in Sunday’s first 35 lap encounter.
Despite the penalties, Courtney, Waters and Wood retain 12th, 17th and 22nd in the championship standings respectively.
