Fast food chain Red Rooster will join V8 Supercars as an official partner in an agreement over three years.
Red Rooster will also become naming rights sponsor for the Sydney Motorsport Park SuperSprint from August 26-28.
The agreement will see Red Rooster partner V8 Supercars across its entire suite of events.
The deal comes as V8 Supercars prepares to officially announce a primary backer for the series.
V8 Supercars Managing Director Matt Braid welcomed the established roast chicken brand to the category.
“We are excited to partner with Red Rooster, and recognise they are a perfect fit with our V8 Supercars brand,” Braid said.
“Bringing a product the quality of Red Rooster to our events is another step in that direction and mutually beneficial for Red Rooster to showcase their products and services to the V8 Supercars audience.”
Red Rooster CEO Chris Green is excited to be again pitching the brand on the series proper after previously having an association with the sport which included a tied up with The Holden Racing Team.
“V8 Supercars is a truly national sport with a great regional reach – very similar to Red Rooster. We can’t wait for supporters to enjoy Red Rooster at the track and more importantly at home with the launch of our Delivery service,” Green said.
The partnership with Red Rooster will also see V8 Supercars work with outlets around the country in a number of local initiatives, including driver appearances, consumer promotions and ticket giveaways.
