Veteran New Zealand racer Inky Tulloch remains in a critical condition following a crash at Teretonga on Sunday.
Tulloch was taken to Southland Hospital in a critical condition after his Honda Integra struck a tyre wall in a single-car accident during the weekend’s Clubman Saloon meeting.
The 65-year-old was moved to Christchurch Hospital on Monday, with the Canterbury District Health Board this morning confirming that he “remains in a critical, yet stable condition”.
Tulloch’s family has also issued a brief statement saying that they are “overwhelmed and thankful for the comforting support and prayers of family, friends and the wider public”.
An experienced businessman and racer, Tulloch is a former mayor for the Gore District in the Southland region of New Zealand’s South Island.
