Experienced IndyCar driver Justin Wilson has been pitched into the Andretti Autosport squad for the remainder of the season.
Left without a full-time drive after departing Dale Coyne Racing at the end of last season, Wilson will be in command of the #25 Honda at Milwaukee this weekend.
Ironically Milwaukee is where he competed in his first oval race back in 2004.
“I've had some great times there, (and) I've had some terrible times there,” Wilson said, who is booked for the last five races of the season.
“It doesn't take much to swing the set-up from being a race winner to being 10 laps down at the end.
“It's very critical and very tough to race at, but one of the most rewarding tracks I've ever come across.
“Hopefully we can hit it just right, have a good strong race weekend and try and build from there.”
Wilson's only two appearances this season have been at the Indianapolis road course and the 500 in May, both for Andretti Autosport.
Australia's 2014 IndyCar Series champion Will Power will go into the Milwaukee race as the defending race winner.
Power sits 46 points behind his Team Penske partner Juan Montoya who tops the table on on 407 points.
